Why I Started Simple Easy Meals
I grew up in a household where good food mattered. My mother cooked from scratch every night — not because she had extra time, but because she believed that what you eat shapes how you feel. That belief stayed with me through college, through my nutrition degree, and through my years in clinical dietetics where I worked with hundreds of patients trying to improve their health through food.
What I saw over and over was a gap between what people knew they should eat and what they actually had the time and energy to make. Complicated recipes with long ingredient lists and unfamiliar techniques were a barrier, not a bridge. I wanted to change that.
I launched Simple Easy Meals in 2020 to bridge that gap — to show that nutritious food can be fast, affordable, and genuinely delicious. Every recipe starts with the question: “Would I actually make this on a Wednesday after work?” If the answer is yes, it makes the site.
